Description

This data and code accompanies our manuscript "A quantitative reward prediction error in ventral pallidum" which will be published in Nature Neuroscience and an earlier version of which is available on bioRxiv. It contains single unit, extracellular electrophysiological data from nucleus accumbens and ventral pallidum in rats performing reward-seeking tasks for sucrose, maltodextrin, and water. The analysis here focuses on the outcome-evoked signaling and uses an outcome-history based modeling approach to characterize reward prediction error signaling in individual neurons.
